Getting started
Welcome to the SipSop portal. This guide covers everything you need to know to get going: how to log in, what you see on the dashboard, and how the role system works.
Accessing the portal
The SipSop portal is at:
https://portal.sipsop.ioYou log in with the email and password you set when creating your account. If the Sopinf team created the account for you, you received an email with a link to set your password.
Login step by step
- Go to
portal.sipsop.io - Enter your email and password
- Click Sign in
If this is your first time and you haven't set a password yet, check your inbox for the invitation email (it may be in Spam). The activation link expires in 24 hours — if it expired, contact support to have it resent.
Forgot your password
On the login screen there is a "Forgot my password" link. Enter your email, you'll receive a recovery link, and you can create a new password. The link is valid for 1 hour.
⚠️ Important: If the recovery link expired, repeat the process from the beginning. Old links cannot be reused.
Dashboard tour
When you log in, the first thing you see is the Dashboard — the main screen of your account.
The 4 KPI cards
At the top there are 4 key metrics for the current period:
| Card | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Calls today | Total calls for the day, all dispositions |
| Calls this month | Running total for the current month |
| Minutes this month | Billable minutes (billsec) for the period |
| Answer rate | Percentage of ANSWERED calls vs total |
These cards refresh every time you load the page.
Volume chart
Below the cards there is a bar chart showing call volume over the last 30 days. It lets you spot peak days, unusual drops, or weekly trends at a glance.
Recent calls
The bottom of the dashboard shows the 5 most recent calls with:
- Date and time
- Source (src) and destination (dst) number
- Duration
- Result (ANSWERED, NO ANSWER, BUSY, FAILED)
For the full history, go to Calls in the sidebar.
Onboarding banner
If your account is new or there are pending setup steps (business hours, IVR, voicemail, caller ID), the dashboard shows a banner with the setup wizard. You can complete it at any time — it's a guide, not a blocker.
Navigation: the sidebar
On the left side is the menu with all available sections based on your role:
| Section | Available to |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | Everyone |
| Calls (CDR) | Everyone |
| Billing | Everyone |
| Team | client_admin only |
| Settings | client_admin only |
If you're a client_user and don't see Team or Settings, that's expected — those sections are for the account administrator only.
Changing the language
The portal is available in Spanish and English. To change the language:
- Click your username (top-right corner or in the profile)
- Find the Language / Idioma option
- Select
EnglishorEspañol
The change is immediate and is saved for your session.
Roles within your account
SipSop has two roles for customer users:
client_admin — Account administrator
The owner or primary person in charge. Can do everything:
- View dashboard, CDR, and billing
- Manage the subscription (update card, change plan)
- Invite new users to the team
- Change the role of existing users
- Remove users from the account
- Configure the service (business hours, IVR, voicemail)
Typically the business owner or IT manager.
client_user — Team member
Read-only access. Can:
- View the dashboard
- View the CDR (call history)
- View the billing section
Cannot edit anything or manage other users. Ideal for supervisors or employees who need visibility without touching the configuration.
💡 Tip: You can have multiple
client_adminusers on the same account if you have multiple stakeholders. There is no additional cost per user.
Signing out
To sign out of your account:
- Click your avatar or name (bottom of the sidebar or top corner)
- Select Sign out
The session closes securely. The next time you log in, you'll need your credentials.
⚠️ On shared computers: Always sign out when you're done. The portal remembers the active session until you explicitly sign out or the session expires due to inactivity.
